He was Kelders and Ishkas son. A failure in business ventures he worked for his brother Quark, who took advantage of him. Later he became an engineer in the Bajorean Militia. After that he became the Grand Negus.

A Ferengi boy who was the son of Rom and Prinadora, and the nephew of Quark. Being the first Ferengi to enter Starfleet, he served under Benjamin Sisko on the Defiant during the Dominion War.

He was Benjamins and Jennifer Siskos son. He chose to become writer/ reporter and not join Starfleet on Deep Space Nine. Nog was his best friend, which really irked his father because his father thought Nog was a bad influence. Jake influenced Nog to join Starfleet.
Jake lost his mom to the Borg. His father and him loved baseball and played it on the holodeck whenever they could.
This was an Orb of the Prophets. The Orb was sent from the Celestial Temple to guide Bajor. This was the third of nine Orbs that appeared within ten thousand years. One influenced Trekor, who became a poet, when he encountered one 3000 years ago.
It was kept under watch by Vedek Bevil Antos. In 2370 he consulted the Orb during the next Kai election. In 2373, Sisko got a plasma burst that gave him a vision in which he had an encounter with the Orb of Prophecy. In 2374 the Orb was moved to the Space Station. Bareil was going to steal it and travel to his alternate universe, but he left it after having an experiance with it.
