Sisko was born in 2332, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was the son of Joseph Sisko who was a chef of a Creole Restaurant called Sisko’s Creole Kitchen. His birth mother, Sarah, was human making him fully human. Sarah was possessed by one of the Bajoran Prophets, which is why he was picked to command Deep Space Nine, and thus became “Emissary to the Prophets.”
In 2369 he was assigned to Deep Space Nine, to help in the recovery of Bajor from the Cardassean occupation of Bajor as well as the Space Station.
