Odo is a changeling shape shifter, and chief of security (or
constable as he’s often called) of Deep Space Nine. Originally discovered in
gelatinous form, Odo learned to morph his appearance an change the shape of his
body. He most often prefers to remain humanoid in appearance, although he must
return to his gelatinous form to rest after sixteen hours in another state. Uptight
and with a great respect for order, Odo seldom relaxes or socializes with the
crew.
